Thu, February 23, 2006 - 12:27 PMI have a four year old son, and have never been to Burning Man Myself, but would love to go. I do however think that the kiddies should be involve in all the sub culture art events that adults go to, it gives them a good sense of diversity, acceptance and self expression. In July we are taking my son to the national rainbow gathering, we also take him to concerts and other types of gatherings. I sorta think it depends on what the parent beleives is acceptable, or not.

back again this year, her 3rd, my 4th, and probably stay in kidsville again.

But I would encourage you to jump in and stir the shit up, ask any question, their kids are professional burners.

Fri, March 3, 2006 - 10:19 AMWe're goin' this year as a unit... our daughter will be almost 1. My brother and his wife may also be comin' out with a 7 and 1.5 year old.
I'm stoked to be coming back out and a little slap happy/nervous/excited about coming as a family... a whole new way to experience the playa, dust bunny boogers and all.
Woo hoo for family!

No, this list is pretty slow. Try going to the kidsville list on yahoo groups. Use kidscamp as a search word. We have about 300 ppl on that one and most have atended BRC with kids. What do you have? Is this your first with kids on the playa? I have two girls age 5 and 10 I bring every year. They love it.
